University. With 80 television credits, nine books, more than 50 peer reviewed articles, Amit
Chaudhery is also a certified independent director at the Institute of Directors India and a representative neutral with the Federation of Integrated Conflict
Management. In parallel, Amit Chaudhery represented independent
opinion as a Government of India nominated expert (CPCSEA) on several institutional ethics
committees: the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Defence Institute of
Physiology, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Indira Gandhi National Open University
and the Maulana Azad Medical College.
Honours include ‘100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders (Global Ranking) the World CSR Congress; citation
by Ashoka University and Singularity University NASA campus (Global Impact Competition); Public
Relations Society of India Leadership Award – Brand Guru; Gold Award, Association of Business
Communicators of India; Sanctuary – ABM AMRO Natural History Writer Award; the UNESCO-PEN
shortlist; Indira Super Achievers Award. In 2015 Chaudhery was co-opted as an honorary member by
the Bishnoi community (Akhil Bhartiya Jeev Raksha Bishnoi Sabha) for his interventions in wildlife
conservation.
Amit Chaudhery was educated at Modern School, New Delhi, read History at St. Stephen’s College,
University of Delhi, holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Punjab University,
Chandigarh, and a diploma in Journalism from the London School, of Journalism. Chaudhery was
awarded a doctorate in Advanced Studies by the Universidad Azteca, Mexico. He undertook an
executive education course by the founding professor, in Reputation Management at the Stern
